North Memorial Health Hospital and Maple Grove Hospital have been named to the 2023 Women’s Choice Award Best Hospitals list in a combined 11 categories. The hospitals were awarded based on clinical performance, customer satisfaction and appropriate accreditations. This national recognition is based on surveys of thousands of women and research conducted in partnership with the Wharton School of Business.

The Star Tribune has named Maple Grove Hospital its “Gold Winner” in the “Best Place to Have a Baby” category of their second annual Minnesota’s Best publication. Minnesota’s Best recognizes the best Minnesota businesses from more than 390 categories, including professional services, restaurants, and cultural institutions.

Eight North Memorial Health providers – nominated by their peers in the community – have been selected for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s annual Top Doctor Award, honoring top-achieving medical doctors who provide excellent care.

North Memorial Health and Maple Grove Hospital have both been named to the 2022 Fortune/Merative 100 Top Hospitals® list. This is the first time that North Memorial Health system has been recognized with this honor in the small health systems category, and the fourth time Maple Grove Hospital has earned the designation as one of the top performing medium community hospitals in the U.S. The annual list was published by Fortune.

North Memorial Health Hospital and Maple Grove Hospital received a score of 95 out of 100 and the designation of “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Top Performer” in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 15th anniversary edition of the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI).
The HEI is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey of healthcare facilities on policies and practices dedicated to the equitable treatment and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees. A record 906 healthcare facilities actively participated in the 2022 HEI survey, and 251 of those earned “Top Performer” designation.
