There are multiple ways to give your time at North Memorial Health Hospital, all of them leading up to one big outcome: Improving the health and lives of people right in your own community.

Comfort chemo customers, assist team members, help make discharge a speedier process—there are so many ways to help us deliver unmatched customer service and help customers feel valued and empowered.

Volunteer Programs at North Memorial Health Hospital

North Memorial Health offers many ways to volunteer, learn and grow. Apply today to get started.

With countless ways to get involved, North Memorial Health has an opportunity to fit nearly every interest. Provide companionship to chemo customers, assist imaging and lab customers to their appointments, or support team members. And that’s just the start.

Fill out an application to be considered for a volunteer position. We will be in touch with volunteer opportunities after we receive it.

NMHH Junior Volunteer Answering PhoneOur junior volunteers are 15–17-year-old high school students who are interested in healthcare and/or the medical field.

Once accepted, junior applicants will complete and submit a background check.

Our Junior Summer Program is available to high schoolers age 16 or 17 who are interested in healthcare and/or the medical field.

  • Scholarship eligibility

  • Celebration luncheon with educational speakers

Investment

  • 60-75 hours of reliable attendance this summer:
    • Two 4-hour daytime shifts per week from June 19, 2023, through August 4, 2023
  • Option to continue volunteering in the fall, with one 3-4 hour shift weekly
