North Memorial Health Names Bradford Newton Chief Information Officer

ROBBINSDALE, Minn (February. 16, 2021)—North Memorial Health is pleased to announce that Bradford Newton has accepted the executive leadership role of chief information officer (CIO) at North Memorial Health, effective December 2020.

Newton’s leadership experience and skills are ideal for this role. He will work closely with North Memorial Health’s leadership team who are committed to providing the best long-term care to Minnesota communities and North Memorial Health team members as a partially remote workforce continues in 2021.

Newton joins North Memorial Health from Wellstar Health System in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as vice president of information technology administration and enterprise applications since 2012. During this time, Newton was responsible for leading several IT functions for the system’s 25,000 team members and successfully led the implementation of Epic, as well as other IT systems, at six hospitals that were acquired by WellStar during his tenure. Newton attended Duke University as an undergraduate and received his MBA from the University of North Carolina.
