North Memorial Health Names Andy Cochrane Chief Hospital Officer

ROBBINSDALE, Minn (Jan. 19, 2021)—North Memorial Health is pleased to announce that Andy Cochrane has accepted a new executive leadership role of chief hospital officer (CHO), North Memorial Health Hospital and Maple Grove Hospital. This appointment is effective January 2021. Andy currently serves as chief executive officer of Maple Grove Hospital.

This new role is designed to ensure clinical care and customer experience excellence across both hospitals. Andy will lead the development of key clinical and operational system service lines while accelerating North Memorial Health’s strategic initiatives. Andy’s leadership experience and skills are ideal for this expanded role. He will optimize our dynamic and engaged leadership team who are committed to providing the best long-term care to Minnesota communities.

Andy has led Maple Grove Hospital for the past 12 years, building a culture of relentless focus on customer experience, while also exceeding all growth projections for the hospital. Maple Grove Hospital has consistently ranked above the 95th percentile in customer experience across the nation. Andy previously held executive leadership roles with Carilion Clinic in Virginia and Houston Methodist in Texas.
