North Memorial Health Recognizes Healthcare Heroes Rising to Meet the Challenge of COVID-19
New video celebrates North Memorial Health’s family of healthcare workers
(Robbinsdale, Minn. – May 5, 2020) – North Memorial Health has found a new way to show its support and gratitude for healthcare workers on the frontlines fighting COVID-19. In a new video launched last week, North Memorial Health gives thanks to its family of team members working tirelessly to care for the community, reflects on the ways COVID-19 is shaping us and celebrates how everyone is rising to meet the current challenge together.
“We’re learning a lot from COVID-19, particularly that we can make conscious choices about our responses in times of crisis,” said J. Kevin Croston, MD, CEO of North Memorial Health. “I’m proud of the way our healthcare heroes have pulled together to show each other and our customers what it means to be a health family. This new video is really another way of saying thank you to the people who have sacrificed so much over the past two months, and to remind everyone that we are all in this together.”
The new video features a day in the life of North Memorial Health physical therapist April Hurley and her daughter Makayla. The video’s main message is that as a community, we are all in this together. Scenes of the mother-daughter duo drive home that North Memorial Health remains steadfast in its mission to empower customers, helping the community stay healthy and caring for them when they are sick.
The video helps demonstrate the ways in which positive responses to the COVID-19 crisis are shaping the next generation of heroes, and helping people reflect on what’s truly important.
