As an oncology clinical nurse specialist, Shirley Kern focuses on customer- and family-centered partnerships with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate a seamless customer experience in the hospital and clinic settings. She works to maximize customers’ health outcomes and helps them overcome barriers to healthcare by supporting a coordinated approach to the treatment plan.
Shirley Kern also has a special interest in working with the cancer survivorship program. She has been an oncology nurse for her entire career and finds it incredibly rewarding.
